Specialty Doors
STC
Acoustic-rated doors help create and protect the environment in countless applications like learning environments in schools, healing environments in medical facilities, and spaces impacted from loud machinery.
Blast-Resistant
These doors are used for hazardous material storage, automotive, chemical, petrochemical, and pharmaceutical facilities. Blast resistant doors come in a variety of strengths (psi) and meet the requirements of Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) 4-010-01, “DOD Minimum Anti-Terrorism Standards for Buildings.”
Bullet Resistant
Protective doors made with ballistic cores, certified, and in accordance with UL752 and NIJ standards, A-Levels 1-8 and available with full glass.
Radio Frequency
Radio Frequency (RF) shielding door assemblies reduces the amount of radio-frequency and electromagnetic energy being transmitted across openings. RF door and frame assemblies are often designed to achieve acoustic as well as radio frequency attenuation.
Lead Lined
Also known as radiation shielded doors, lead-lined doors are used in medical facilities, research labs, defense environments and airports. These doors include a sheet of lead that is 1/32”, 1/16”, or ⅛” thick surrounded by mineral or wood core.
